An extended work of song and spoken word that explores transformative moments in the lives of mothers from the Bible.

Commissioned by VOX Femina Los Angeles, Resilient Voices is a three-movement work for SSAA choir, treble choir, cello, and piano. This work honors the historical importance of art in our lives, the despair we feel when we cannot express ourselves, and the triumph of creative expression overcoming all obstacles.

For SATB choir, And I Shall Sing is about finding your voice, listening to those that uplift and encourage you, and overcoming obstacles in order to become your true self.
